Volunteer with BikeABQ
Are you a passionate cyclist? Do you have an opinion about how to fix the streets and paths, or make your neighborhood more bike-friendly? Want to get first-hand advocacy experience? BikeABQ offers many opportunities to take action!
Volunteers help make things happen! Throughout the year there are events that we assist with around the city. Volunteer opportunities include community and cycling events, Bike Valet at various events, the annual Bike Swap, and Bike to Work Day.
In addition to helping your community, Volunteers who help at least 6 hours in a calendar year are eligible to receive a BikeABQ 1-year Volunteer membership. For more information, please email Membership@BikeABQ.org.
Below are a variety of ways you can support BikeABQ and cycling in Albuquerque while having a fun time! Sign-up today by contacting the designated Coordinator listed with the event, or email: Volunteer@BikeABQ.org.
Upcoming Volunteer Opportunities:
December 3 Twinkle Light Parade:
Join us to raise awareness of bicycling in a fun holiday event! If you would like to volunteer to ride with the BikeABQ “Holiday Cyclists” entry in the Twinkle Light Parade, please email RSVP@BikeABQ.org to sign up. Bikes (and trailers if you pull one) as well as riders should all be lit up. It is the Twinkle Light Parade, after all. And the more lights the better! A variety of battery powered LED light strings are available this year in local stores. More details will be emailed after Volunteers sign up.
